A group of students at the University of Portsmouth, UK, recently attended a Laughter Yoga session organized by Trevor Beech, Laughter Leader from the Hampshire Laughter Club.
Most participants expressed that they liked laughing, and it helped them overcome their emotional problems. Students felt more optimistic and confident and learnt to be more accepting and aware of themselves and others. They found that even if they faked laughter in the beginning, they soon became better at it and could laugh more easily and heartily.
