Laughter professionals Radhika Bisht and Jagat Singh Bisht in Indore recently conducted a personality development workshop for 30 children in the age group of 5 – 20 years using Laughter Yoga as a tool. It has been proved that Laughter Yoga enhances communication skills, leadership qualities, team building, creativity and self-confidence in children. It helps them get over stress in many ways and increases the level of relaxation. It also reduces nervousness and stage fright which helps them in all extracurricular activities like stage performance and public speaking, thereby improving their personality and individuality.

Read the following report on the workshop by Radhika Bisht and Jagat Singh Bisht:

Indore: We have just concluded a personality development workshop for 30 children in the age group of 5 – 20 years using Laughter Yoga as a tool. The children really liked it. We feel Laughter Yoga is a powerful tool for personality development which enhances communication skills, leadership qualities, team building, creativity and self-confidence in children.

The workshop was held in Suniket Park, Indore, India. We spent about two-and-a-half hours each on Saturday and Sunday evenings. For the initial ice-breaking, we had pizza-pasta game at the beginning of the programme. It was followed by a brief session of Laughter Yoga. The children were then asked to conduct one exercise each of their choice for the group laying special emphasis on their communication and presenting skills.
