More Than a Standard 5-Day Training

When Kay teaches privately, the experience is not limited to completing the standard international curriculum.

Because the group is very small, there is more space for individual learning, conversation and practice.

Depending on the participant's background and interests, additional elements may include:

  • Laughter Meditation

  • Breath and relaxation practices

  • Meditation

  • Reflection

  • Facilitation skills

  • Holding space

  • Group dynamics

  • Communication and listening

  • Session design

  • Professional application

  • Working with specific populations

  • Developing your own Laughter Yoga activities or programs

  • Personal mentoring with Kay

The intention is not only to learn what to teach, but also to develop greater confidence in how to work with people.

From Leader to Teacher

The Teacher level is for people who would like to deepen their Laughter Yoga practice and move into a more professional role.

While a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader learns how to lead Laughter Yoga sessions, Teacher Training goes deeper into:

Practice → Facilitation → Teaching → Application

Participants develop greater understanding of how to structure sessions, teach concepts, guide groups and adapt Laughter Yoga to different settings.

This makes the program particularly suitable for people who already work with others professionally.

Who Is This Training For?

This program may be especially relevant for:

  • Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders ready for the next level

  • Yoga teachers

  • Coaches

  • Trainers

  • Facilitators

  • Healthcare professionals

  • Nurses

  • Therapists and counsellors

  • Wellness practitioners

  • Meditation teachers

  • Corporate trainers

  • Community leaders

  • Retreat facilitators

  • People wishing to integrate Laughter Yoga into their existing profession

Previous Laughter Yoga Leader certification may be required depending on the certification pathway.

Please contact us to discuss your current training background.

Study and Stay at Baan Gita

The program takes place at:

Baan Gita
Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand

Kay is based in Chiang Rai and private training is offered here.

Participants therefore need to travel to Chiang Rai for the program.

Baan Gita is a small family guesthouse and learning space where participants can stay, learn, practise and rest in the same environment.

Instead of commuting between a hotel and training venue every day, the experience is intentionally designed as a small residential learning journey.

Private Training

One of the advantages of this format is the small number of participants.

Private Teacher Training allows more time for:

  • Personal questions

  • Individual feedback

  • Teaching practice

  • Discussion

  • Reflection

  • Professional application

  • Mentoring

The pace can also be adapted to the participants while maintaining the required curriculum.

Available Throughout the Year

Private Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher Training is available:

By appointment throughout the year

There are no fixed public dates required.

If you are planning a trip to Thailand, send us your preferred dates and we will check availability.

International participants are very welcome.
