Since 2008 laughter leader Gisela Dombrowsky has been organizing World Laughter Day in Dusseldorf. This year on May 3rd several Laughter Yoga leaders and teachers, their friends and family came to celebrate the day laughing and singing. The local press was astonished to see this laughing group with so many people coming from different cities.
They started with some exercises for relaxation and breathing and then chanted hoho-hahaha together with different laughter exercises like Gradient Laughter, Cell phone Laughter, Electric Shock, Gradient Laughter and Chicken Laughter. Walkers and Joggers and families rested a while and laughed till crazy. At the end they all stood in silence for one minute and laughed together for World Peace. All the participants said Very good, very good, yeah in more than 10 different languages, which was very impressive. It was a lot of fun and nobody wanted to go home!

Laughter community all around the world celebrated the annual World Laughter Day On May 3, 2015 with great enthusiasm and joy. Several events were organized everywhere and people gathered to laugh for good health and world peace.
5On this occasion, the founder of Laughter Yoga, Dr. Madan Kataria, in his message on his website said that there was a need to build up a global consciousness of health, happiness and world peace through laughter. "We don't laugh because we are happy, we are happy because we laugh," he said. If people all over the world are happy and healthy they will contribute to world peace, he added. Laughter Yoga is the easiest way to be happy. It is the safest and the most economical solution for physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.
