Dance is like dynamic meditation provided there are no specific steps of dancing. It should be a kind of an expression of your emotions and feelings through the movements of your body. You should not bother as to how you are dancing; just dance the way you want and move your body with the music naturally.
The true dance meditation is when you are not looking at others and dancing as if nobody is watching you. If you see Sufi mystics, they have a typical way of dancing with their eyes closed as if in a trance. Likewise, you too can blindfold yourself and move the different parts of your body swaying to the melody of spiritual music.
On behalf of Laughter Yoga University, our music composer Pintu Mallick’ new spiritual composition will take you through a trance experience. All you need to do is dance and sway to the music and enjoy expressing your feelings and emotions.
