Masami CLYT Japan: Recently, I had a wonderful experience when I laughed in a funeral hall together with 57people and over10 staff members. It was great to see people enjoying a laughter session in a place usually not meant to laugh. For the first time, in its 99 year old history, the funeral hall was filled with the sound of laughter instead of the customary sadness. After the session, an old lady said that after her husband’s death, she had almost stopped living, but Laughter Yoga helped her to get over her sorrow and she learnt to live and laugh. Most other participants also felt a positive change in their attitude towards life had ‘smiley & joyful’ expressions after the session.
