But...but...what does it all mean?Go Back Lotte Mikkelsen, United Kingdom 5 January 2017
If you are visiting the Laughter Yoga International website you probably already know that
Laughter Yoga is not about Yoga poses except for stretches.
Tao of Laughter is not about qigong moves but could lead to a path of peacefulness.
Zen of Happiness is not about Nirvana - or is it...
So what is it all about?
Well first of all it is not about religious, nor is it about beliefs or politics, any propaganda or marketing - it is all about getting a bit philosophical about joyfulness and then a lot physical about laughter and play, dance and song!
In a world where self-expression is oftentimes frowned upon, where we do laughter as a full expression, noisy and physical, it is important to also internalise the response and settle the laughter within.
I love Laughter Yoga because it is not just about the loud laughter and big arms, clapping and chanting.
Laughter Yoga is also about making it easy and comfortable to be joyful!
So, blogging on Laughter Yoga International...???
I already blog on blogspot.com, my blog is called The Laughter Blog where I philosophise about life and laughter, so what else can I say and write about? That's a really good question but watch this space and you may be surprised!
I am Lotte Mikkelsen, the Laughter Yoga Master Trainer in the UK and Laughter Ambassador appointed in 2006. I live Laughter Yoga and it gives me inspirational ideas on how to live a life full of joy and all the good things that we sometimes dream of but can't see happening.
Good news! They do happen so you may want to get in touch.
I am no different than other people but I know about extra-ordinary and going the extra mile. There are great tutors and mentors, teachers and gurus and I am blessed to have worked with some of them over the years.
No matter who you are, where you are, what you do, and with whom, you are destined to a great life!
